How do you like the food? 

Diane: အရမ္း အရသာ ေကာင္းတယ္။ မင္းခ်က္တာလား
It tastes really great. Did you cook it? 

Patrick: အင္း၊ ဒီညေန ခ်က္တာ။ ထပ္ယူပါအုံးလား
Yes. I made it this afternoon. Would you like some more? 

Diane: အိုေက။ နဲနဲ ပဲ။ ဝေနၿပီ။
OK, just a little though. I'm really full. 

Patrick: အိုး။ အဲဒါ ဆိုရင္ အရည္ေသာက္ ယူမလား
Oh. Would you like some soup instead? 

Diane: ဘယ္လိုမ်ိဳးလဲ
What kind is it? 

Patrick: ခရမ္းခ်ဥ္သီးနဲ႔ ဆန္၊ အရင္က ေသာက္ဖူးလား
Tomato and rice. Have you had that before? 

Diane: ဟင့္အင္း။ ပထမဆုံးပဲ။ ဘယ္လို အရသာ ရွိသလဲ
No. This is my first time. How does it taste? 

Patrick:ေကာင္းတယ္။ ေသာက္ၾကည့္ပါ။ ဘယ္လိုထင္သလဲ
It's good, try it. What do you think? 

Diane: ေဝါင္း။ ေကာင္းတယ္။ မင္းခ်က္တာလား
Wow. It is good. Did you make that also? 

Patrick: အင္း။
Yes. 

Diane: အရမ္းေတာ္တဲ့ စားေတာ္ကဲပဲ။
You're a really good cook. 

Patrick:ေက်းဇူးပဲ။ ေနာက္တေခါက္မွာ ၾကက္သား ဟင္းရည္ ခ်က္မယ္။
Thanks, next time I'll make chicken soup for us. 

Diane: ေကာင္းပုံရတယ္။ ဟင္းခ်က္နည္း ေက်ာင္းမွာ သင္ခဲ့တာလား
That sounds good. Did you study cooking in school? 

Patrick: ဟင့္အင္း။ ကိုယ့္ဘာသာ ေလ့လာတာ။ ဟင္းခ်က္နည္း စာအုပ္ေကာင္းရွိတယ္။ အခ်ိန္ရ ရင္ ဖတ္တယ္။
No, I learned by myself. I have a good cook book that I read when I have time.
