အခ်စ္ နဲ႔ အခ်ိန္( ျမန္မာ-အဂၤလိပ္နွစ္ဘာသာျဖင့္)

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

ဟိုးေရွးေရွးတုန္းက ကၽြန္းတစ္ကၽြန္းေပၚမွာ ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ျခင္း၊ နာက်င္ျခင္း၊ အသိပညာ စတဲ့ "ခံစားခ်က္ေတြ" အားလံုးေနထိုင္ၾကတယ္။ "အခ်စ္"လည္း အပါအဝင္ျဖစ္တယ္။ တစ္ေန႔မွာ သူတို႔ေနထိုင္တဲ့ကၽြန္းေလး နစ္ျမဳပ္ေတာ့မယ္ဆိုတဲ့အေၾကာင္း ေၾကညာခဲ့တယ္။။ "အခ်စ္"ကလဲြလို႔ က်န္သူေတြအားလံုး ေလွကေလးေတြလုပ္ၿပီး ကၽြန္းကေနခြာခဲ့ၾကတယ္။

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment. When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

ကၽြန္းေပၚမွာ "အခ်စ္"တစ္ေယာက္ပဲ က်န္ခဲ့တယ္။ ေနာက္ဆံုးအခ်ိန္ထိ ႀကံ့ႀကံ့ခံဖို႔ သူေမွ်ာ္လင့္ထားတယ္။ ကၽြန္းလံုးဝနစ္ျမဳပ္ခါနီးမွ အကူအညီယူဖို႔ သူဆံုးျဖတ္လိုက္တယ္။

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said, "Richness, can you take me with you?"

"ၾကြယ္ဝျခင္း"က အခ်စ္ေဘးနား ေလွႀကီးတစ္စင္းနဲ႔ ျဖတ္ေလွာ္သြားတယ္။

"ၾကြယ္ၾကြယ္ေရ... ငါ့ကိုေခၚသြားႏိုင္မလား?" အခ်စ္ကေျပာတယ္။

Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

"ဟင့္အင္း... ငါ့ေလွေပၚမွာ ရတနာဥစၥာေတြ အျပည့္ပဲ။ နင့္အတြက္ ေနရာမရွိဘူး" ၾကြယ္ဝျခင္းက ေျဖတယ္။

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"

"ၾကြားဝါျခင္း"က ေလွလွလွေလးစီးၿပီး အခ်စ္ေဘးနား ျဖတ္ေလွာ္သြားတယ္။

"အၾကြားေရ... ငါ့ကိုကူပါဦး!" အခ်စ္ကေျပာတယ္။

"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

"မကူႏိုင္ဘူး အခ်စ္ရယ္... နင့္တစ္ကိုယ္လံုး ရဲြရဲြစိုေနတာ ငါ့ေလွညစ္ပတ္သြားမွာေပါ့" ၾကြားဝါျခင္းက ေျဖတယ္။

Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."

"နာက်င္ျခင္း" ရဲ႕ေလွ အနားကပ္ေတာ့ အခ်စ္က "က်င္က်င္ေရ... ငါ့ကိုေခၚသြားပါ" လို႔ဆိုတယ္။

"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

"အိုး..အခ်စ္... ငါအရမ္းဝမ္းနည္းေနတယ္။ ငါတစ္ေယာက္ထဲပဲ ေနခ်င္တယ္"

Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

အခ်စ္ေဘးနား "ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ျခင္း"ျဖတ္သြားတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ သူသိပ္ေပ်ာ္ေနလို႔ အခ်စ္ရဲ႕ေခၚသံကို သူမၾကားလိုက္ဘူး။

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,

ရုတ္တရက္ အသံတစ္သံကို ၾကားလိုက္တယ္။ အသံက လူႀကီးပိုင္းကျဖစ္တယ္။

"လာ အခ်စ္ နင့္ကိုငါေခၚသြားမယ္"

အခ်စ္ အရမ္းေပ်ာ္သြားမိတယ္။ သူတို႔ ဘယ္သြားၾကမလဲဆိုတာကို ေမးဖို႔ေမ့ေလာက္ေအာင္ ေပ်ာ္သြားတယ္။ ကမ္းစပ္တစ္ခုဆီေရာက္ေတာ့ လူႀကီးက သူလမ္းသူသြားလိုက္တယ္။ သူ႔ကို လူႀကီးေတာ္ေတာ္ကူညီလိုက္မွန္း အခ်စ္ နားလည္လိုက္တယ္။

Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"

အဲဒီလိုနဲ႔ ေနာက္အႀကီးတစ္ဦးျဖစ္တဲ့ "အသိပညာ" ကို အခ်စ္ကေမးတယ္။

"အခ်စ္ကို ဘယ္သူကူညီလိုက္တာလဲ?"

"It was Time," Knowledge answered.

"အခ်ိန္က ကူညီလိုက္တာ" အသိပညာက ေျဖတယ္။

"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"

"အခ်ိန္! အခ်ိန္က ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ အခ်စ္ကို ကူညီရတာလဲ?" အခ်စ္ေမးျပန္တယ္။

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

"အခ်ိန္ကမွ အခ်စ္ရဲ႕တန္ဖိုးကို နားလည္လို႔ပါ" အသိပညာက နက္နဲတဲ့ဉာဏ္ပညာနဲ႔ ၿပံဳးရင္းေျဖတယ္။
